  Utterly awful. No proper medical care or support. ie: I've just had major cancer surgery and was worried I had an infection. I was told there was an appointment in 45 mins (normally you have to wait 9-12 weeks). I am not allowed to drive for a month, my friend who is looking after me is unfamiliar with the road and I live 50 minutes drive away. We were told the doctor would not wait. Unbelievable! That is just one of many instances in the failure of duty of care that I have experienced.

  This medical centre use to be so good, I could consistently get appointments with the SAME doctor, now if I want to book an appointment to fit in with my work schedule & see my "usual" doctor FORGET that, what a joke. The only way to get an appointment a(that's with just any doctor available) you can call on the day and ask to be put on the cancellation list, and even then when you turn up to your appointment on time you will wait 30+ mins over time for your appointment like I currently am as I write this!! 3:15pm appointment and it's now 3:50pm.

  Great medical centre from the receptionists to,Dr Lawrence right to the pathology .How lucky are we in the Valley. Thank you so much The Medical Centre might not be a flash building like some but care of its patients is order of the day

  Being a Medical Receptionist myself I found the DVMC staff to be very friendly and helpful. Whilst sitting in the waiting room the approach of the staff to incoming patients was professional and caring. I would like to say thank you to Dr Green for bring a very positive and friendly person who I look forward to helping me with my health. Thank you.

  Cannot recommend Dr Gemma highly enough. She's prompt, knowledgeable and sensitive. The reception and admin staff at this surgery are always super helpful, too.

  Whilst I have been using this Centre for 10 yrs I still have not developed any relationship of any significance with a doctor as they come and go so frequently. I suspect that if you are a born and bred local it may be different as many people are lucky enough to be able to see "their own doctor whenever they need an appointment if they are in fact a local. I have not ever had a bad experience as all the doctors have been very professional, courteous and good practioners but not having a familiar rapport is in my opinion a disadvantage.Trying to secure appointments when you are a permanent worker is a nightmare, the system of ringing up at 8am in the morning for a possible appt is a failure as sometimes like today you can ring repeatedly and no answer. The reception staff are all really lovely and go out of their way to help, but as far as feeling confident about seeing any doctor of preference on a regular basis I am sorry to say, I feel very let down.
